Our Wedding

In October of 2024 Rebecca had been working at Walter Reed Medical center as an Executive Assistant for a year, while Zachary had been teaching as a PE and Health teacher at Davis Middle school for 5 years. Life felt pretty dull when it came to romantic relationships-until, luckily for Zach, Rebecca popped up on Zach's dating App. Having gone to the same High School in La Plata MD, they thought it would be cool to meet up with an old friend, not knowing where it would lead. After some chatting they decided to get together- but unfortunately, Rebecca got very sick before they were supposed to meet. Zach thought, "This is it, she's making some excuse not to see me." Rebecca surprised him by rescheduling for the next weekend. One weekend turned into another, and then another until they realized they didn't want to keep saying goodbye every Sunday night. They decided to take the leap and move in together. Since then life has been nothing but learning, growing and finding space for all of Rebecca's things. They never imagined that someone they walked the halls with over 10 years ago would become their best friend and the person they wanted to do life with forever. 10 years of heartbreak, life lessons, laughter, and just becoming who they needed to be. Rebecca and Zach are so excited to begin this next chapter and celebrate with all of you!

I don't think there is any one who represents a big sister as much as Jackie. She has always been there for me, even 5,000 miles away, and I have always looked up to her. I remember even trying on her clothes when I was little. She has a big heart and theres no one else i'd rather have as my matron of honor :)

Jake and I met in kindergarten and ever since then he's been a brother to me.  From exploring new things, going on adventures or just hanging out Jake has always been there for me.  I've always been grateful to have been able to grow up with a friend like Jake.

I met Marissa while I was stationed in Osan, Korea in 2023. We instantly clicked, making weird references that the other would usually burst out in laughter from. There's not many times when we're together that we're not laughing, she's my little boost of serotonin and I am so happy to have a friend like her. Even living in different countries, I know we will always be close.

Marissa Benton

I met James through his sister Carli at Salisbury University back in 2019. Truthfully I don't remember how we became friends but next thing I knew we were hanging out every weekend.  No matter how busy we become we still find time to talk and or hangout.  Even though being four years younger than me I look up to James for advice and he's always there for me.  He's not just my best friend but will always be a brother to me.

I also met PR while stationed in Osan, Korea. She is always the center of attention, people are drawn to her bubbly personality so easily. I haven't met many people as selfless as she is, she will drop everything to help anyone and is one of the best people I know. She is also one of the goofiest, her dad jokes might be better than mine. But I'm glad she came here with me from Korea.

Yanill Pierna Rodriguez

I met Jp through Jake back in 2004 and he's another friend that's always down to do anything and is always there for me.  Through growing up with each other and living together as adults he's been one of my best friends for over twenty years.  At times we might not talk or hangout but I know I can always count on him as he is another friend I'm lucky to call a brother.  

John Patrick Mudd

I met Bailey at Walter Reed Medical Center. Soon after we had to go to California for a field exercise and we got really close, all of a sudden she was coming over all the time for dinner. She is one of the sweetest people I know and is always smiling. She is another friend you will always find me laughing with, and another friend I know I can go to for anything.

Chris is one of my older brothers and our childhood was like many others. We fought a lot.. Chris moved out early on and was doing his own thing. After graduating college I moved back home and he has been my neighbor every since.  Now these past few years we have gotten closer than we ever have been.  No matter what it is, playing games, working out or showing me something new he's someone I look up to and know I can count on.  I'm very grateful to have a brother like Chris in my life.

I met Patty through a mutal friend after high school. We weren't close right away, but after we did talk I knew she was a friend I needed to keep around. Even after being overseas for five years and coming back, seeing Patty was like I never left. We caught up instantly and still find the time to do so with our crazy lives. I'm glad I have a friend like her around to keep me in check.

Patricia Atkinson

Kevin is my other older brother and someone I've looked up to since I can remember.  Being my oldest brother he was always protecting me and showing me how to do things.  Now that we're grown I get to see him do the same thing with his sons as he did with me.  He's a great brother and I know he'll be an even better dad.
